  • Please note that the workshop venue will provide to all attendees a free access to Wireless Lan during all the workshop. Connection details will be displayed at the registration desk.
  • Please bring your presentation on a USB key to the technical assistant in the conference room 30 min before your session.

    Presentation format
    The computers will be running the Windows 7 operating system. Presentation formats accepted are:
  • MS Office Powerpoint
  • PDF 1.5
  • OpenOffice Presentation ODP (.odp)
  • Length of contributed and invited oral presentations
  • Contributed oral presentations are 20 minutes long. Please design your presentation to take 15-17 minutes, leaving 3 to 5 minutes for discussion.
  • Keynote (invited) lectures are 45 minutes long. Please design your presentation to take 40 minutes, leaving 5 minutes for discussion.
  • Poster Format
  • Poster boards are 84,1 cm wide (33,11 in) x 118,9 cm high (46,81 in) corresponding to A0 format.
  • Material for hanging poster on the poster board will be provided on site.

  • The Prospects PCC 2013 will take place in Montpellier, France, at the Mercure Hotel Centre situated a stone's throw from the Place de la Comédie and Place de l'écusson (historic center of the city) and the business district (Le Corum) of Montpellier (see map for exact location).

    The auditorium offers all the technical facilities for conferences and breaks, lunches and dinners will take place on the mist-cooled terrace bathed in Mediterranean colors.
  • Arrival in Montpellier Méditerranée airport
  • The airport is located near to Montpellier City (15 min by car). It guarantees many frequency flight connexions for Paris, Lyon or Madrid. Alternatively, Ryanair Company flights into Montpellier, Nimes and Perpignan cover many locations from England and Ireland. Finally, International flights also go to Barcelona in Spain located at three hour drive on the A9 north from Montpellier

    Taxis and shuttle bus have commonly used to join Montpellier City.

  • Arrival by train in St Roch Railway Station
  • The city's main train station is Montpellier St. Roch. France's TGV train service links Montpellier to major cities, including Paris, Lille, Lyon, Valence and Nice, as well as offering travel through to Barcelona. Most of the major towns on the Côte d'Azur are accessible by using train transport from the St. Roch station.
    Four tram lines currently operate in Montpellier. They take in the train station, Place de la Comédie, Corum and the University. In general, tram transport frequently travels during the day, but not as often during the evening. Tram services operate up until 24:00.

  • Arrival by road
  • A9 motorway:- Paris - Montpellier: approx. 440 miles -
    Exit Montpellier Est, 10 minutes from Le Corum (Montpellier Center).
  • Rooms have been blocked at workshop venue - Mercure Hotel Centre - and to benefit from a negotiated rate of 109 €/person/day (+ 15 € for breakfast), reservation has to be made directly at the Mercure Hotel Centre before midnight on 20th May 2013.
